More Fun Times

For those of you who don't know, my sister-in-law had a 20's themed birthday party this last Saturday. It came together perfectly and was the best party I've been to in a long time. If you're curious, you can find out more about the details here.

I cooked the other day and whipped up a fabulous stir-fry. Chicken, fresh picked green beans, mushrooms, ginger, basil, garlic, lime, chili, peanuts, and Sriracha of course. So delicious.
Our barred owl keeps making appearances. At night, you can hear a bunch of them all calling back and forth.

Absence make the heart grow fonder

Well, I took our friends to the airport this morning. What an awesome week. What joy to be able to spend so much time with people you love so much. It was tortuous trying to decide which pictures to post. We've got about a thousand.

We had great time watching sci-fi movies with Charleton Heston, playing old school Nintendo games, learning to fish, playing in the sprinklers, swimming in the leech infested lake, LOVING KIDS, and catching up.

Thanks Jed and Crystal, for sharing your vacation and your kids with us. We love you all so much.

The Dreams of Brian

A new project for myself:
Creating an entire new blog where I journal my dreams.

I have have always wanted to start keeping a journal of my dreams, and figured this would be a great way to do it. I can't guarantee that every one of my dreams will make it to the blog, but I'll try and get the most interesting ones up there. Who knows, maybe some of us have been having the same exact dream and never knew it. I'm not sure if I will be adding any commentary to my dreams, or just recording the dream itself. We'll see...

The title for the blog is The Dreams of Brian (trying to stick with a theme, maybe I should have chosen iDream). So check it out! I've already got a few posted. Maybe you can help me learn a little about myself. Anyway, I hope it's entertaining for you.
