A couple weeks ago, our friends Brad and Kelly sent out an e-mail asking if anyone was available to watch their cats at their apartment in Capitol Hill while they were away in California for a week. Jennifer and I thought about it for about two seconds before we shot back an e-mail begging that they choose us to stay at their place. I'm not sure who was doing the bigger favor- Jenn and I watching the cats or Brad and Kelly letting us pretend we live in Seattle for a week.
It's been fun. The cats, Thai and Sing, were totally cool. I got to commute back to Maple Valley almost every day to go to work- a small price to pay for staying in the city. We walked to dinner and dessert a couple nights, did some shopping on Broadway, had leisurely coffee at Vivace's, and enjoyed all of Kelly's awesome artwork in the apartment. We also were able to spend some quality time hanging out with Joel and Candace who live less than a hundred yards away.
It's a lifestyle I think I could get used to.

You're giving Thai a run for his money in the handsome-O-meter.
And I love this little post and I am SO glad that you two were the ones taking care of our small men (while enjoying Seattle-livin').
I could get used to it too loves,
I could indeed.
You just let us know when you want to move in and we will kick someone out of the building for you.
You guys rock for watching the boys! I was secretly spying on you and saw that you managed to play all the way through H3, so props to that as well! ;)
